REGISTRATION:  If you have not completed a Registration for the upcoming year, please do so ASAP. If you are a catechist you must still register your child.
SS RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TUITION ASSISTANCE (SSRELED TAP 2019):  Please know that we will never turn away a family from religious education based on ability to pay.  If your family is having difficulty with paying the registration fee, you are encouraged to complete an application for SS REL ED TAP which is tuition assistance for the program.  Please contact the main religious education office to obtain the form.

EMERGENCY CONTACTS/UPDATING REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Please always call and advise the Religious Education Office (773-2002) of any change of address, emergency contacts or other personal registration information that may be in need of update to assure you receive timely communications & information throughout the year.

EARLY DISMISSALS: Early dismissals are discouraged, however we know at times are unavoidable. Please notify your child’s teacher when your child is scheduled for an early dismissal upon drop off. The adult person designated to pick up the student must report to the Religious Education office and the student will be sent to the office. Under no circumstances will a student be released to anyone directly from the classroom or without being signed out by the responsible adult.

ATTENDANCE: The fact that you have registered your child in our program indicates a commitment on your part to make every effort to assure his/her regular attendance and give support when needed for learning. Should you find yourself in an unforeseen predicament making attendance difficult, please call the Religious Ed. Office at 773-2002. We are more than willing to work with families, but can only do so when we are made aware of the needs in a timely manner. We review attendance weekly and if absences are noted as problematic we will be calling you to discuss this concern.

DRESS, BEHAVIOR, ETC.: We ask that you assure that your child is dressed appropriately for attending classes & for the weather (Please - leave coats and hats with the student during wet and/or cold weather due to the possibility the student will leave the building to go to church with their class or in the event of an emergency evacuation of the building.) It has been our experience and expectation that all students will interact with the catechists and their peers in a respectful manner, however if behavior becomes problematic during program we will remove the student from the situation and contact you to work through the issue with us in a cooperative manner. Any physical actions or threats towards peers or a catechist will result in the student being immediately expelled and will not be permitted to return to the program.

PARKING/TRAFFIC:For everyone’s safety please adhere to our speed limit of 5 mph. Children in grades Pre-K -5th grade will not be allowed to leave the classroom without an adult person designated to pick them up. Children in 6th-11th grade will come out to Door #1 with the overhang. PLEASE – do not block the flow of traffic by parking outside of the identified/legal parking spaces particularly at the end of rows.

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation of a scheduled program day due to weather will be announced on local television stations like a regular school closing.
