St. Stephen Parish Sesquicentennial

Dear Friends,

St. Stephen Parish was founded on February 16, 1862 and during 2012 we will observe our 150th anniversary.  For those many years we have served the Grand Island community in countless spiritual and social ways.  From February to December 2012 we are planning a series of events to commemorate this significant milestone in our parish life.

We will be publishing a COMMEMORATIVE PROGRAM that will include the anniversary events, a history of the parish, congratulatory letters, and many other articles of interest.  We plan on printing several thousand programs to be distributed throughout the year.  We are inviting you to consider being a patron in the program to support our anniversary and the 3,000 families that now comprise our parish community.

Below is information on how you might participate as a patron.  If you need further assistance, you may contact us at 773-7647.  We would like to receive all ads by Jan. 22, 2012.  This will give us time to print the program in preparation for the Mass that will begin the anniversary on Feb. 12. 

Thank you so much for your consideration and support of our anniversary.  Our parish looks forward to many more years of loving service to the people of Grand Island.
